Work as part of a team of developers
Contribute to enterprise-level web programming projects
The depth and breadth of the projects will depend on intern’s experience and knowledge
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:
How to build and design enterprise level applications.
C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, and JQuery.
MS SQL 2008 including stored procedures and table design.
MVC, HTML5.0, CSS 3, mobile JQuery, and mobile websites.
Intern must be pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science
Experience with object-oriented programming in an academic, hobbyist, or commercial environment required
Experience with web development programming in a client/server setup required
Experience with relational database design, writing queries and stored procedures with MySQL or Microsoft SQL required
Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment.
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time.
Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions.
Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations and procedures to develop effective solutions.
Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters.
Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to speak clearly, see, and hear other personnel and/or objects. Physically capable to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and climb. Capable of using hand tools and manipulation of small parts. Frequently lifting equipment up to 40 lbs.
Normal office setting, minor noise, frequent interruptions. Occasional dust accumulation around and in equipment.
