Maxim’s Micros & Security Business Unit is seeking a software engineering intern to develop and test software at our Dallas, TX location.
Intern will write software conforming to a provided specification.
Intern will design and write regression tests for software.
Intern will document software operation, document APIs, and produce example programs for software libraries.
Intern will complete internal documentation required for review and release consistent with ISO requirements
Candidate must be pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical
Candidate must be proficient in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Visual Basic, or Pascal
Knowledge of embedded systems (“bare metal”) is preferred
Candidates are required to present one completed programming project including documentation during interview. The project selected should be one where the candidate was the primary contributor to the software coding and debugging. Both school and personal projects are acceptable.
