Note: While this is a marketing position, it is heavily technical and there are opportunities to get involved in web development/coding as well. The perfect candidate is someone interested in both programming and marketing.
Stranger Studios is looking to offer a qualified intern an opportunity to learn advanced online and traditional marketing techniques and skills in an aggressive startup environment. We have been developing WordPress-based and custom coded websites and web applications for clients and internal ventures since Y2K.
You will be working on a team to design, develop, and launch a new service for WineLog.net.
WineLog.net is a “web 2.0” era web app that allowed users to keep track of wines they drank and get recommendations for new wines to try. The site continues to have strong brand and SEO opportunities. We will be brainstorming ideas for how to pivot WineLog into a new business, developing and marketing the new business, and launching the new version of the site.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm with Stranger Studios leadership in order to design a new application or service for WineLog and to develop new marketing methods for a relaunch of WineLog.
- Drafting and editing copy for various web channels. (social media, websites, etc.).
- Monitor website and social media analytics such as viewership, follower count, bounce rates, etc.
- Provide reports on growth and other activity.
Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
